    Hi Jerry
Like you, I do a spot on the local ABC on history topics.
On August 8, the topic is a story on a very social wedding held at Pisttsworth in 1906.
The bride carried a bouquet containing what the newspaper described as ‘nipheltos’roses. Thanks to your website I will be able to correct the error and even supply a picture.
Thanks for this and for your always interesting contributions to ‘Gardening Australia’.

    1. Dear Peter,
Glad to be useful, ‘Niphetos’ is a favourite of mine. The first specimen I saw was trained against a wall at Avery Hill Winter Garden (Eltham, London, 1978) and I’ve since seen it growing in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Bangkok and Malekula Island (Vanuatu).
      Jerry
